The "Fantastico" chain of hypermarkets continues its investment policy by opening new stores in Sofia and the surrounding towns. In addition to the traditional facade solutions of black thermal panels, red composite material and glass, the Bankya store is the first to feature a ventilated suspended facade made of large-sized CASSETTON® cassette products with a mirror effect, made of stainless steel sheet with a thickness of 1.0 mm. The idea belongs to the designers from the "Cityscape" Architectural Studio, as an expression of their desire to experiment with solid facades using new materials and techniques.
Red ladybugs are placed on the facade, and the architects describe the composition as "Levitation of ladybugs in the mirror world of the urban environment." Edge caps, an openwork fence and flat roof waterproofing were also carried out.
The facade is made of large-sized CASSETTON® cassette products with a mirror effect, manufactured from stainless steel sheet with a thickness of 1.0 mm.
The idea for the ventilated facade with a mirror effect belongs to the designers from the "Cityscape" Architectural Studio.
