This residential project in Sofia was delivered by VAS PRO as a complete roof and facade solution using the FALZON roofing system, one of the company’s established systems for contemporary architectural applications in metal. The project combines durable roofing materials, precision sheet metal detailing, integrated ventilation, and coordinated rainwater drainage in a unified exterior envelope designed for long-term performance and a refined visual result. The roof and facade were executed in polyester-coated steel sheet in custom colour RR33, a finish well suited to modern residential architecture and compatible with the high waterproofness and durability associated with the FALZON system. The roof build-up was designed as a ventilated roof over a timber roof structure, supporting airflow beneath the metal covering and contributing to the reliability and service life of the overall roofing assembly. The scope of work includes a complete set of custom-made sheet metal flashings and accessories, manufactured and installed to ensure weather protection, clean lines, and precise integration with the architectural geometry. These details include chimney caps, a louvered vent cap, roof ventilation outlets, edge caps, and sheet metal flashings around windows, all coordinated with the FALZON finish and colour concept to maintain both technical performance and design consistency. A fully integrated rainwater drainage system was also included as part of the project, with gutters, downpipes, and related drainage components designed to manage runoff effectively and protect the facade and lower parts of the building. VAS PRO presents drainage systems, seamless gutters, and downpipes as core elements of its complete roofing offer, which makes their integration essential to the project’s long-term functionality. For daylight, comfort, and interior ventilation, the roof was fitted with VELUX GLL and VELUX GLU roof windows.
